What We Collect

When you run an audit, Probe makes standard HTTP GET/HEAD requests to publicly accessible endpoints. We collect:

• Audit metadata: URL audited, score, check results, timestamps, grade
• Basic analytics: page views, anonymized IP addresses (via Cloudflare Analytics)

What We Do NOT Collect

• API request or response bodies
• API keys, tokens, or credentials
• Personal data from audited APIs
• Cookies for tracking or advertising

How We Use Data

• Generate audit reports and scores
• Display results on the public leaderboard (opt-in via running an audit)
• Improve the audit engine and check coverage
• Aggregate compliance statistics (anonymized)

Data Storage & Security

Infrastructure runs on Cloudflare (edge functions, Pages) and Supabase (PostgreSQL, EU region). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. We do not sell or share individual audit data with third parties.

Data Retention

Audit reports are stored indefinitely for public sharing and leaderboard purposes. You can request deletion of your audit data by emailing contact@getprobe.xyz.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access your data
• Request correction or deletion
• Object to processing
• Data portability
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Cookies

Probe does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Essential cookies may be set by Cloudflare for security purposes (e.g., bot detection).
